This one did double duty. It marked Britney’s birthday in early December, and it celebrated the Washington Blade naming Commissary Editor’s Choice for Best Bottomless Brunch — an editorial pick rather than a reader vote, which is the harder of the two to win.
The Blade’s recognition of this dining room, in various categories, runs across many years. It is the single most consistent thread in the restaurant’s press history.
Where it sits in the series
The popstar brunch run also took in Beyoncé, Sia, Gaga and a Beyoncé & Jay-Z brunch timed to the On The Run tour reaching DC. Each had its own poster and its own reservation list.
