Who to ask for
Different questions land with different people. Sending yours to the right place is the fastest route to an answer.
- Reservations and large tables
- Call 202-299-0018. Anything over eight guests is easier by phone than by form.
- Private events and buyouts
- Use the private events enquiry form. The events coordinator handles space, timing and custom menus.
- Catering
- The catering form on this site reaches the same team. Include your date, headcount and delivery address.
- Lost property
- Call the restaurant directly. Items are held behind the host stand and logged by date.
- Jobs
- Applications go through the EatWell DC hiring form linked from the Careers page, not by email.
- Press and photography
- Email commissary@eatwelldc.com with the outlet and your deadline in the subject line.

Feedback, good and otherwise
If something went wrong during a visit, the most useful thing you can do is tell a manager while you are still in the room. Almost everything is fixable in the moment and almost nothing is fixable a week later.
If that is not possible, email is read by the management team rather than a queue. Include the date, the approximate time and the table or bar seat if you remember it — that is enough to find the ticket and work out what happened.
Questions
Frequently asked questions
What is Commissary’s phone number?
202-299-0018. The line is answered during service hours, from 8 AM until close.
What is Commissary’s email address?
commissary@eatwelldc.com reaches the management team directly.
How do I book a private event?
Use the private events enquiry form on the Private Events page. Include your date, headcount and whether you need the full room or a section.
Do you take reservations by email?
Reservations are faster by phone on 202-299-0018 or through the reservation form. Email is better for events, catering and anything that needs a written record.
How quickly do you reply?
Phone is immediate during service. Emails and form enquiries are generally answered within one business day, though event enquiries during December can take longer.
Can I book the whole restaurant?
Yes. Full buyouts are possible and are handled through the private events team. The dining room seats 90, the bar adds fifteen, and the patio adds twenty-five.
